Besides the resort, do you have any additional properties in San Diego?We have two main locations for our Vacation Rentals. Our main resort located at 32nd and market street and has 10 individually rentable properties. There are 34 combined bedrooms available for rent. 3 large outdoor event spaces. 89 beds for all of your guests, and 23 bathrooms spread throughout! The other three homes are located at 26th and Imperial and have been staples to our business since 2016! They include the Bamboo Loft, Bamboo House and Boat House. for a total of 12 Bedrooms, 27 beds, and 6.5 bathrooms.

Is this a shared space?At our resort, there is a communal beach area and shared walkways between rentals but your unit is completely private and includes a private patio.

Does your resort have a common area/lounge?Absolutely. Our 'Beach Lobby' area is available to all guests and includes a beach bar, bbq's, and interactive games like corn-hole and jumbo connect four.

Do you include bed spreads, pillows, and blankets?Yes, all our rentals will have beds made with 1 pillow and 1 blanket minimum per bed. Queens and larger will have 2 of each available. Extra blankets are available upon request.

Does this property include a grill?Yes, all our properties have a grill available with an included propane tank or gas line.

Does the house have condiments?Since the Covid pandemic, we do not leave condiments behind in our refridgerators, please plan to bring your own.

Do you have any speakers on the property?Most of our rentals include a speaker system or a sound bar beneath the tv that can be airplayed to! Inquire about our best event spaces in San Diego, they are all equipped with their own sound systems for you to play music with your group. (Additional fees may incur)

Do you have an HDMI cord available?Yes absolutely, if there is not one in the tv we have extras available upon request.

What are the bed sizes in your rentals?The beds found in our rentals vary from Twin, Twin XL, Queen, and King beds.

Can I modify, or cancel my reservation and is there a fee?To modify your reservation, please get in touch with us so we can best satisfy your request. Fees for modifying or cancelling your reservation vary based on party size and notice of cancellation.

What type of rooms do you offer?Good Life Resorts houses 10 unique vacation rentals all on the same property. Each rental has anywhere from 1-5 bedrooms. This lodging arrangement is perfect for families, friend groups, and retreats. For exact layout plans of each rental, fill out an inquiry form and we will send you a brochure with detailed information.

Is smoking permitted at the resort?Smoking is not permitted inside rentals. However, each rental is equipped with a private outdoor patio and guests are free to smoke in that area. Our beach lobby is a common area for all guests and smoking is permitted. Please be mindful of other guests and children that may be sharing the beach.

I have a large group of over 40 guests, which rental would you suggest?That depends! Are you looking to host an event or would like extra private space for you and your group? If so, your best option would be to book a package! Our lodging packages come with quality amenities such as complimentary breakfast, event space and equipment, photo booth, and much more. What forms of payment do you accept?We accept credit card payments only. All payments for lodging must be made prior to arrival. Special offers upon arrival such as late/early check out, fully stocked fridge, and pet fees may be made online.

Is there a security deposit upon arrival?There is no security deposit charged when you arrive. However, if you plan to host an event, we may ask for a security deposit at the time of booking.

Do you offer free wifi?Yes, we offer free high speed wifi throughout the resort.

Do you offer complimentary breakfast?Our deluxe and premium packages offer complimentary breakfast. If you are booking a base package or individual listing, breakfast will not be included.

Do you have rooms equipped for guests with disabilities?Yes, our rentals are wheelchair accessible as well as event spaces.

Is housekeeping included, and if so, how often?Your rentals are properly cleaned before and after your arrival with fresh linens and towels. Daily housekeeping during the length of your stay is not included. If you would like to include daily housekeeping as a part of your stay, please contact us so we may fulfill your request.

How do I handle maintenance issues if they arise during my stay?If you are experiencing any maintenance issues, please contact us via your Guest App. If you are experiencing an immediate emergency, you may call us at (619)-292-8010.

Is parking available, and is there an additional cost?Parking is available for free on the street in front of our resort or in the back gates behind our resort. Please view your guest app for the parking code that corresponds with your rental. If you do not see a parking code, and your guest app displays 'Street Parking' then you must park on the street.

Where is your resort located?Our resort is located near Downtown San Diego and Gaslamp Quarter. We are near popular attractions such as Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo, Little Italy, and Seaport Village.

Is there parking on site?Yes, there are 24 street spaces in front of the resort and 12 gated spaces available behind the resort for your convenience. To access the gated spaces, find your parking code in your Guest Area in the 'About the Rental' section.

What attractions are near you resort?Our resort is located near many popular San Diego attractions including Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, Petco Park, Downtown San Diego, and Seaport Village, all within an 8-10 minute uber or drive. Family friendly attractions include Balboa Park, the San Diego Zoo & Aquarium, SeaWorld, and the Maritime Museum in Seaport Village. If your looking to spend some time in the sand, some of San Diego's best beaches are nearby including Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, and Ocean Beach.

Can I host my event at the resort?Yes! Please submit your event inquiry on our appropriated page. We host a variety of events including weddings, birthdays, baby showers, celebrations of life, company parties, and other special occasions. Note: Depending on size you may be required to rent 2 adjacent rentals or obtain daily insurance.

What event spaces do you have?We have 4 different event spaces suited for your various needs. First is our Sanctuary, a versatile venue offering both indoor and outdoor event spaces for up to 150 guests. Our historic indoor space, a charming former church, features double-hung windows and a long, elegant table perfect for dining, meetings, and social gatherings. The adjoining outdoor deck provides shaded areas for relaxation, a dartboard, and room to set up any attractions/catering you desire. Popular events hosted here include weddings, corporate holiday parties, birthday celebrations, and bachelorette parties. Event Tent 1 & 2 offers a flexible outdoor space with two tents, banquet tables and chairs, and an open area for mingling. Accommodating up to 150 guests, this space is ideal for creating lasting memories. Purchase our popular upgrades with this event space, which include an LED Inflatable Glow Party Tent, Technology Package, and Photobooth and truly elevate your event. For more intimate gatherings, the Bamboo Garden accommodates up to 50 guests and includes banquet-style seating, flatscreen TVs for presentations, and BBQ grills for a delightful cookout. With plenty of counter space, this garden is perfect for activities like auctions, face painting, gift tables, and wedding book signings. Our premier Beach Boardwalk, recently awarded the #1 Outdoor Event Space in America, offers a unique beach setting for your event. This area features outdoor seating (banquet chairs and tables available for an additional fee), a man-made sandy beach, a beach bar with four mini fridges, flatscreen TV, mood lighting, a BBQ, and fun activities like cornhole and plastic axe throwing. What hours can I host my event?Our event spaces are open from 7am until 10pm every day. We do not offer any extended hours past 10pm.

Can I host overnight guests and host an event?Of course! Our resort houses an array of vacation homes and event space all on one property. We have up to 34 bedrooms that can accommodate 150 guests. No need to worry about transportation, after hosting your event, your guests have a short 2 min walk back to their rooms!

What is your catering policy?Good Life Resorts has a BYO Catering policy. Guests are welcome to coordinate a food truck, private caterer, or do it themselves using our standard kitchen amenities or provided BBQ. Make it a fun and interactive BBQ grill night, hire a food truck for some amazing street tacos, or cater with a personal chef! Don't hesitate to reach out to Good Life Resorts for any questions on catering suggestions or general catering questions.

What is the purpose of event insurance?AirBnB and other event platforms do not insure events for its hosts, and the liability is out of our control. If something were to happen because of an event we as the owners of the property could be held liable for damages or legal fees. This insurance is so that everyone including our guests is covered in the case of injury, police citation, or destruction to the property.

What is your alcohol policy?Good Life Resorts has a BYO Alcohol policy. Guests may supply their own alcohol, it is not a requirement to purchase alcohol from Good Life Resorts. However, if you are looking to purchase alcohol from Good Life Resorts and skip the hassle of coordinating your beverages, we got you covered. Let us know your preferred beverages and we will do all the coordination for you! Inquire with us after booking your event if interested in the Good Life Resorts Alcohol package.

Are there any restrictions on the types of decorations we can useApproved decorations include banners, hanging decor, balloons, and centerpieces. Any decor that would permanently alter the structure is not permitted including nails and pushpins. Sparkles or glitter of any kind are not allowed.

Do you have extra tables or chairs for my approved event?Yes we have a dozen regular sized banquet tables along with up to 160 outdoor white folding chairs available for a small fee. This fee ranges from $100-$300 depending on the size of the event.

Can I hire a DJ to play at my event?Definitely! We have hosted events with DJs before, and it is such a great experience when you can enjoy music and fun with friends. Please let us know after booking your event if you plan to hire a DJ, so that we can best coordinate any details you or your vendor may need. Please note our observed quiet hours begin at 10pm, and all music must be shut off by that time.

Do you offer in-house catering services, or work with external caterers?We do not provide in-house catering, but if you need recommendations, please reach out to us. We would be happy to connect you with some of our local favorites.

Does your resort allow cats and dogs?Yes, we allow dogs for a $40 fee/dog. We allow cats for a $65 fee/ cat. Animals must be leashed in common areas of the resort. Serious consequences will be imposed for those who fail to pay the associated fees.

I would like to reserve a home for someone who is 18 years old is that ok?We do not allow bookings for unsupervised minors. Payment for the housing can be made by anyone but we need the contact information for one guest staying at the property. That guest must be 18 years or older and accept full responsibility for any damages to the listing. In addition we do not allow under age drinking at our property.

I have less people than originally intended; can I get a discount since I will be using less bedrooms?We do not offer discounts after a booking has already been made. We will however ensure that you have an AMAZING time with the people you show up with.

Can I bring a few friends over that are not listed?We allow up to 5 outside guests without authorization. We have cameras around the perimeter of all buildings and if we suspect that there are more guests being brought in who are unauthorized, we reserve the right to terminate the reservation immediately without issuing a refund.

I paid 50% of my booking, when is the rest of my reservation payment due?"Guests must make full payment 45 days before arrival. After 45 days, guest will be given a grace period of 5 days before a reservation is cancelled and the original 50% down payment is forfeited.

My reservation was canceled due to my failure to pay the remaining balance before 45 days of arrival and the 5 day grace period. How do I get a refund?A guest that does not pay in full for a reservation by 40th day before arrival has forfeited their deposit. This guest will have the option to complete the booking ONLY if the rental is still available. If the rental is no longer available, the guest will forfeit their deposit due to missing the deadline.

What is your cancellation policy?If cancelling within 48 hours and 30+ days from check in: 95% of Booking Total is refundable 30+ days prior to arrival : 50% of Booking Total is refundable 14-29 days prior to arrival: 25% of Booking Total is refundable Check in up to 13 days prior to arrival: only Cleaning fees are refundable Cancellation Policy *For 95% refund, cancellation must be made within 48 hours of original reservation date & time and at least 30 days prior to our property’s local check-in time (5pm). After 48 hours, 50% becomes non-refundable. *For a 50% REFUND of total booking price, cancellation must be made 30+ days prior to our property’s local check-in time (5pm). Regardless of the amount paid, 50% of total booking is forfeited and non-refundable. If remaining balance is not paid by the 30th day prior to check-in date, your reservation will be cancelled automatically by 5pm and 50% of your total booking will be forfeited. You may book the property by paying the remaining balance due ONLY if the rental inventory is still available. *For a 25% REFUND of total booking price, guest must cancel between 14 to 29 days prior to prior to our property’s local check-in time (5pm). 75% is non-refundable. *Guest will be refunded all cleaning fees if the reservation is cancelled the day before arrival.

What is your Covid-19 Cancellation policy?Cash refunds will not exceed our standard cancellation policy under any circumstance. Each case will be examined and we will do our best to provide travel credit on a future rental. Credits will be provided at our discretion based on legally supported inability to travel. If a guest is choosing to not travel, there will be no guaranteed refund.

What time is Check in/Check Out?Check in for our rentals is 5pm PST. Check out is 10 am PST. You may purchase an early check-in/late check-out time via our pre-check in link that will be sent to your email, or through out 'Guest Area' where you will also see other oppourtunities for rental upgrades.

How do I access my rental?All doors associated to our rentals use a digital lock. You will receive the code to your rental by 10 am the morning of your arrival via your 'Guest Area'. Please make sure you have completed your pre-check in prior to receiving your rental code, if you have not completed your pre-check in, you will not receive your rental code.

What are we responsible for when we check out?Check-out instructions can be found in your Guest Area. Please follow the instructions for a smooth check-out process.

Our flight lands at noon and we can’t check in until 4 pm, do you have any suggestions while we wait?Everything in San Diego is relatively close to the airport. Our number 1 suggestion after landing whether you have a car or are using ride share is to visit “The Crack Shack” and the “Little Italy Ballast Point Brewery” to eat some amazing food and take the edge off after traveling. By the time your group is done with lunch and spirits are perked, we suggest that any remaining time is spent at the Costco located at 650 Gateway Center Dr, San Diego, CA 92102. You do not need a membership to purchase alcohol here. So you can stock up for the time your group is staying, by this time it should be close to four and the home will be ready for your group!

How do I check-in to the rental?Prior to your arrival, you will receive a pre-arrival email that is mandatory for guest to complete.
